Office & Shop Lockout
Being locked out of your office or shop in Hornchurch is not simply an inconvenience — it can halt a full working day, leave stock or sensitive files unattended, and cost your business in ways that go far beyond the locksmith call-out itself. Whether you manage a retail unit on High Street, a solicitor's office near St Andrew's Park, or a warehouse off the A127, regaining entry quickly and without causing unnecessary damage to the door frame or the lock is exactly what our team is equipped to do.

Frequently asked questions
Answers to what our customers ask most. Still unsure? Just call.
How quickly can a locksmith reach my office or shop in Hornchurch?+
We send a technician straight away and are usually with you in about 30 minutes. Actual arrival time depends on where in the area we are currently working and on road conditions — Hornchurch Road and the A124 can be slow at peak times. We will give you a realistic estimated arrival when you call, and the technician will keep you updated if anything changes en route.
Will you damage the door when opening my business premises?+
Our trained technicians always attempt a non-destructive opening first, using specialist tools suited to the specific lock and door type. The large majority of commercial lockouts are resolved without any damage to the door, frame, or lock. If the lock or cylinder is too badly damaged for a non-destructive approach — for instance, a snapped euro cylinder — we explain the situation and agree next steps with you before doing anything further.
How is the price worked out for a commercial lockout?+
Several factors determine the final quote: the type of lock and door (a multipoint uPVC mechanism takes different tools and time from a standard 5-lever mortice deadlock), the time of day (evenings, weekends, and bank holidays are priced differently from standard weekday hours), travel distance to your premises, and whether replacement parts such as a new cylinder or lock case are needed. Critically, we confirm the exact price with you on the phone before the technician sets off, so the figure on the invoice matches what you were told.
Can you help if the lock has been tampered with or a key has broken inside it?+
Yes. A key broken inside a barrel and a lock that has been tampered with or damaged are both situations our technicians deal with regularly. We carry extraction tools for broken keys and stock a range of commercial-grade replacement cylinders and lock cases. If the damage points to an attempted break-in rather than ordinary wear and tear, we will note that for you and can advise on upgrading the hardware at the same visit — for example, fitting a TS007 3-star anti-snap euro cylinder on a uPVC or composite door.
Do you need proof that I own or manage the business before you open the door?+
We will ask reasonable verification questions — your name, the business name, and ideally something that links you to the address, such as a driving licence, a utility or business rates bill, or a tenancy or lease document. We do not insist on a formal paper trail for every situation, and we use judgement, but we do have a responsibility not to open premises for someone who has no right to enter. This process protects you as the legitimate occupier as well as us as the attending technicians.
What if the lock or door needs replacing after the lockout — can you do that at the same visit?+
In most cases, yes. Our mobile technicians carry a range of commercial cylinders, multipoint lock cases, and uPVC door lock mechanisms in the van, so a lock change, a door lock replacement, or a uPVC door lock repair can usually be completed at the same appointment. If a specific part is not on the van, we will source it as quickly as possible and arrange a prompt return visit. We will always explain what is needed and confirm any additional cost before proceeding.
